Meaning: to do for; to do (something) for (someone)

How to use: Vて + あげる

Explain:
Used to describe the action of doing something for someone in good faith.

Example sentences:

1. キムさんを手伝ってあげました。
Kimu-san o tetsudatte agemashita.
I helped Mr. Kim

2. 知りたければ教えてあげる。
shiritakereba oshiete ageru.
If you want to know, I’ll tell you.

3. よければ、本を貸してあげる。
Yokereba, hon o kashite ageru.
I’ll lend you a book if you like

4. 私は妹さんに写真を撮ってあげました。
Watashi wa imōto-san ni shashin o totte agemashita.
I took a picture for my sister.
