Full Scipt:

1.  音楽を　聞きながら　食事します。
ongaku o kiki nagara shokuji shi masu.
I listen to music while eating.

2.  毎朝　ジョギングを　して　います。
maiasa jogingu o shi te i masu.
Every morning I jog.

3.  地下鉄は　速いし、安いし、地下鉄で　行きましょう。
chikatetsu ha hayai shi, yasui shi, chikatetsu de iki mashou.
The subway is both fast and cheap, so let’s go by subway.

1.  眠い　とき、ガムを　かみながら　運転します。
nemui toki, gamu o kami nagara unten shi masu.
When I’m sleepy while driving, I chew gum.

。。。そうですか。わたしは　車を　止めて、しばらく　寝ます。
… sou desu ka. watashi ha kuruma o tome te, shibaraku ne masu.
…Really. I stopped the car and slept for a while.

2.  太郎、テレビを　見ながら　勉強しては　いけませんよ。
tarou, terebi o mi nagara benkyou shi te ha ike masen yo.
Taro, don’t study and watch TV at the same time.

。。。Yes.

3.  彼は　働きながら　大学で　勉強して　います。
kare ha hataraki nagara daigaku de benkyou shi te i masu.
He is studying at university while working.

。。。そうですか。　偉いですね。
… sou desu ka. erai desu ne.
…Really. Admirable, right.

4.  休みの　日は　いつも　何を　して　いますか。
yasumi no hi ha itsumo nani o shi tei masu ka.
What do you usually do on your days off?

。。。そうですね。　たいてい　絵を　かいて　います。
… sou desu ne. taitei e o kai te i masu.
…Well, usually I draw pictures.

5.  ワット先生は　熱心だし、まじめだし、それに　経験も　あります。
watto sensei ha nesshin da shi, majime da shi, sore ni keiken mo ari masu.
Dr. Watt is enthusiastic, serious, and has experience.

。。。いい　先生ですね。
… ii sensei desu ne.
…What a good teacher.

6.  田中さんは　よく　旅行を　しますが、外国へは　行きませんね。
tanaka san ha yoku ryokou o shi masu ga, gaikoku he ha iki masen ne.
Mr. Tanaka travels a lot, but he doesn’t go abroad?

。。。ええ。ことばも　わからないし、習慣も　違うし、外国旅行はたいへんですよ。
… ee. kotoba mo wakara nai shi, shuukan mo chigau shi, gaikoku ryokou ha taihen desu yo.
…Yes, I don’t understand the language, and the customs are different, so traveling abroad is very difficult.

7.  どうして　さくら大学を　選んだんですか。
doushite sakura daigaku o eran dan desu ka.
Why did you choose Sakura University?

。。。さくら大学は　父が　出た　大学だし、いい　先生も　多いし、それに　家から　近いですから。
… sakura daigaku ha chichi ga de ta daigaku da shi, ii sensei mo ooi shi, sore ni ie kara chikai desu kara.
…Because this is the school where my father studied, has many good lecturers, and is also close to my home.
